Social Media for Change

Social Media for Change

24/7 Tutor for FREE

24/7 Tutor for FREE

Have you ever had an experience wherein you eagerly wanted to learn/do something that you cannot achieve on your own due to lack of time, experience, knowledge and what not? What did you do then? Did you ask someone to teach you, did you do nothing or were you resourceful and quick-witted to use the internet?

Hyperspecialization has the potential to become a trend all over the world as it now operates and benefits a lot of people today. Its existence is said to be brought about by the same factor that offered us the craze of social media and directed us to a bigger community, cheap communication. Because it’s very easy and at almost no cost to communicate through the internet, people became more connected all over the world. Hence, companies could easily search for and hire workers.

How is it for me?

As much as I very much acknowledge the advancements brought about by social media, hyperspecialization is a different matter and has a lot of things to consider. Read the rest of this entry

The Dawn of A New Age? 1

‘Two is better than one’

‘Bayanihan’

‘Teamwork divides the task and doubles the success’

Get the idea? Individuals working together, sharing the tasks and accomplishing all of those with better outcomes because of people’s collective effort; these are known and established verities. These have been proven practically effective and valuable for people and for organizations.

What is it?

Today, there is a rising process related to these and it’s called hyperspecialization. Some say that it is a rehash of what we already have such as system engineering, outsourcing and the likes but hyperspecialization is a different thing. It is the breaking down of a job that is previously done by a person into specific bits of tasks now to be accomplished by specialized workers. Read the rest of this entry

What did I do online?

What did I do online?

NOTHINGNESS

It took me quite a long time to be able to have a first blog. When I started  typing, I didn’t know where I was heading. Then I remembered what I read from a book about writing. It said that if ever you do not have anything in mind to write, then free write. Just jot down or type whatever it is running inside your head. Still, nothing, that was something adequate, came up.
